A standalone DC charger with one integrated CCS connector and 80 kW output, fully liquid-cooled and built for charging that runs for hours or around the clock: overnight truck charging, depots, fleet yards. Most chargers in this power class are air-cooled and reduce power when their electronics heat up under continuous load. The DC80 LQ cools its power electronics with liquid instead, which keeps them at a stable temperature, so the 80 kW stay available after many hours of operation. The cabinet is tall and narrow, so it fits between parking bays and along depot walls.
Features
- Liquid cooling in the 80 kW class: Liquid cooling has so far been used mainly in high-power chargers. The DC80 LQ brings it to the 80 kW segment, at the price level of air-cooled systems.
- 80 kW that stay 80 kW: No drop in power under continuous load, including 24/7 operation, up to 45 °C ambient.
- Wake-Up Function: For vehicles with a base load, the charger automatically tops up the battery again, so the vehicle is fully charged at departure without manual intervention.
- Small footprint: At 28 cm wide, it fits space-constrained depots and fleet yards.
- Longer service life: Lower thermal stress on the electronics means less wear over the product's lifetime.
Typical use
Overnight truck charging, logistics depots, bus and fleet depots, and any site where vehicles stand for several hours and must be fully charged at departure.
